Dr. Terri Vasché

Dr. Terri Vasché, the founder of Silver Falls Eyecare PC, has practiced optometry for more than 25 years.  She graduated from Pacific University in Forest Grove, OR with a Doctor of Optometry degree in 1979 and also received her Bachelor of Science degree from Pacific.  Fresh out of optometry school, Dr. Vasché associated with Dr. William Ludlum, a renowned expert on vision therapy, from 1979 to 1980.  It was at Dr. Ludlum's practice where Dr. Vasché first learned about vision therapy.  In fact, Dr. Ludlum has trained doctors from all over the world in the art and science of vision therapy.

In August of 1980, Dr. Vasché relocated to the small town of Silverton, Oregon and started her own private optometry practice.  The practice was the first of its kind in the region to specialize in vision therapy, as most optometry offered only eye exams and eye glasses.

In 1986, Dr. Vasché became a Fellow in the prestigious College of Optometrists in Vision Development.  There are currently on 355 doctors nationwide who have passed the written and oral examinations required to become a fellow.  Dr. Vasché has been a member of the American Optometric Association since 1975 and is a member of the Optometric Extension Program.  Dr. Vasché has been a member of the Oregon Optometric Physicians Association since 1979.

After 13 years, the practice outgrew its original office building and moved into a new building in 1993, recently remodeled in 2004.  The new building was designed to be one of the premier optometry offices in the Northwest.

Dr. Vasché and her husband Richard, reside just outside Silverton.  Dr. Vasché has two sons.
